Zolder Practice Test: Tips & Tricks for an RACB Licence
Hello Rodolphe,
I'm writing you this short email to thank you for all your good advice, your kindness, your patience, your good humor, and your teaching skills on this special day when you were the first person I thought of.
Indeed, I still remember my first laps on the circuit, during which I was quite lost in the middle of all those GT3RS and prototypes. Without your presence, I think I would have gone home and given up on the circuit, which was a dream come true, as it is for many of us.
You reassured me and guided and explained this unique world of the circuit so well that by the end of the day, I had already rediscovered the desire and pleasure of driving on the track.
We had the opportunity to persevere through several coaching sessions, and I saw my enjoyment of driving on the track grow with each session, during which, step by step, you helped me gain confidence and refine my driving.
I was so delighted that I wanted to share this pleasure with my son Cyril, whom you also coached.
We're finally getting into it, and my brother suggested that my son and I participate with him, as a family, in the 24 Hours of Citroën C1 at Francorchamps in October 2025.
A famous challenge, since you have to pass your RACB license.
Will we be up to it?
After passing the theory test, we were able to take the practical test at Zolder this Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
We had never driven on the Zolder circuit before and were a little nervous, but with all the advice you gave us, we passed the test successfully.
To my great surprise, the RACB examiners even took me aside to announce, "Luc, with what we've seen here, you're entitled to the higher license, the National Fun Cup license."
So here I am, officially the holder of a Fun Cup license, and my son, a C1 license.
My son and I thank you wholeheartedly for the journey we've taken together, which led us to our driving license.
A big thank you again to you, Rodolphe.
Looking forward to seeing you again.
Luc and Cyril
