A real joy in seeing and feeling the progress at Francorchamps

Dear Rodolphe,

A huge thank you for this magnificent day of "fast driving" coaching (I don't dare say "piloting" yet) at Francorchamps.

My experience being limited to a brief attempt at a driving school in my early years, then a few track days without much guidance, I was a little apprehensive about this day on this legendary circuit.

Yet the passion was there, intact for 50 years, but without daring to take action. Thanks to the advice of a friend, I finally found an extraordinary coach who was competent, understanding, and extremely patient.

With my big sedan, not at all track-ready, you gave me valuable advice. What added value for learning and progress is having a coach in the passenger seat who reminds you of instructions, instantly corrects mistakes, and tirelessly repeats information (eyes, braking, trajectory, acceleration, etc.) throughout an entire day, clearly and with the authority sometimes necessary.

Because bad habits are numerous and difficult to break. At first, I felt like a complete failure: a huge lesson in humility! You told me it was normal! It's hard to be consistent. A whole day isn't too much, but what a pleasure when, at the end of the afternoon, thanks to "clear rounds," to use the term "pros," you feel a real joy in seeing and feeling the progress.

Thanks again, and see you soon. My training is far from over.
