Preparing for your driving test: Anti-stress success with Rodolphe
I passed my driving test on the first try last March and I'm delighted. It wasn't a foregone conclusion, but I gave myself every chance of succeeding by taking lessons from Rodolphe Koentges.
Before that, for nearly nine months, I'd been driving alone with an L, without much confidence and with varying degrees of stress depending on the place and the situation. In short, I'd developed my own driving habits, which weren't necessarily the best ones. So I decided to take lessons, but which ones to choose? When I was talking to people about my stress, a colleague told me about the coaching courses given by Rodolphe, who had been recommended to her by someone else. So I gave him a call and started with a four-hour session. It was an intensive afternoon with a theoretical part and a more practical part on the road to assess my level and correct my mistakes.
After that session, I acquired new reflexes and already felt more confident. A few months later, as the date of my practical test approached, I felt I wasn't ready yet. So I took a few more lessons with a view to getting the grail this time, and it worked! I have to say that Rodolphe is a very strict teacher. Which suited me just fine, because all his advice has, I think, really sunk in from now on. During the course, I was confronted with the “traps and aberrations” of the road in various parts of the city so that I'd be ready to deal with any problematic situation.
These courses enabled me to drive defensively and calmly and, above all, gave me a taste for driving today. It was a wise choice which, with hindsight, allows me to distinguish between the experience gained with the driving school and, above all, the coaching.
With the former, I learnt the technical rudiments of driving, while with the latter, I perfected my technique but above all eliminated my stress and I even anticipate the actions of other drivers.
If you can identify with my story, give Rodolphe a call!
